LACC works for A Residential school for Mentally Retarded People

LACC is currently working on a very interesting and sensitive Landscape Design project . It is landscaping of a campus at Malunje .It is a Residential school for Mentally Retarded People. The President of this organisation which works for this good cause is Mrs. Desai. This campus which was owned by Irrigation department was for long lying unused. It is taken over on rent by this organisation. Designing the outdoor spaces for this catagory of users is a challenging job.
The site offer other challenges like being sloping, less water, termite problem , Nilgiri and other trees which are of not much use. The site will be developed in Phases.

Prof. Shubhada and Prof. Asmita are working on this project.
