Students get an opportunity to deal with live projects from Regional Local to site specific scale.
These are taken ahead under our consultancy cell - LACC. Students are also part of this cell. The Department of Landscape architecture's policy is "Earn while Learn" .The project gives them an opportunity of providing financial aid to the student while she is studying for the course ,at the same time makes her ready to perform the best in this competitive world.
First Project -
Urban Landscape study - Roadscapes
Under ‘Urban Landscape study’ ,the students dealt with designing and enhancing the quality of the main roads in Pune namely ‘Laxmi Road, ‘Fergusson Road’ and ‘Bajirao Road’
One of the design - Laxmi Road was taken further as part of the competition.
Pune Municipal Corporation is showing interest in executing some areas of Laxmi Road. We are currently talking with them and will be meeting soon in person.
Second Project -
Wonder Futura - Residential, Commercial and Entertainment complex
They completed a Landscape Design for a Residential cum commercial complex ‘Wonder Futura ‘ at the Mumbai-Bangalore highway where they had to deal with site divided into two sectors by the highway . It will be soon presented to the builder to take it to level of execution.
Third Project -
Expat Properties, Uravade site
Expat Properties , a Dubai based company with India association has acquired a land of 400 acres In Uravade. Out of 400 Acres ,students are currently working on 118 acres sloping site of Expat Properties. They are giving proposals which will be economically viable and environmentally sustainable. Expat is interested in knowing students studies and views and if found feasible, would like to incorporate it too.
Fourth Project -
G M , India, Talegaon.
In the second year , Third semester students will work on Industrial campus of 300 acres.
This is a live project on which students will work . This is floated in the form of competition by G M ,India.
Total prize money for this project is 3 Lacs.
